Freshers Day Celebration
On 11th of July 2022 ,” FRESHERS DAY” for the academic year 2022-23 was held at College Hall St. Mary’s PUC, Mangalore. The purpose of Freshers party is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. The Freshers Day was filled with excitement, joy, music enthusiasm and happiness and with entertainment.
The programme was coordinated by both I Commerce and I Science students. The celebration started at 9.30 a.m in our college auditorium with our Anchors Afreen Banu,Sara Nihaf and Zalikha Zuhen. Haafizah Khathija students of II Science welcomed our Principal, lectures and all the students in the function.
Event started with a group song by the students of I Commerce followed by Dance, Mime show, Skit and traditional wedding dance ‘Oppana’. Later on I Science students rapt the stage with their dance and song and surprised us with their funny way of attracting the audience through their comedy skit.
Finally Boomika Sriraj thanked everyone. Our principal Sr. Sahaya Mary addressed the students and appreciated the overall performance of students. The event was finally concluded by singing the National Anthem.
