ST MARY’S PUC- CABINET INAUGRATION 2023-24
The inaugural ceremony for the student cabinet was held on 13th June, 2023 in the college auditorium of St Mary’s P.U College, Mangalore. 13 students from 2nd commerce and 2nd science took charge as student cabinet for the academic year 2023-24.
The inaugural ceremony began by invoking God’s blessing with prayer service and prayer song. Sr. Maria Kripa A C the Correspondent and Local superior of St Mary’s Institute was the chief guest for the occasion. Sr Maria Krupa , Sr.Sahaya Mary and Mrs Vijayalakshmi were escorted to the Dias by the student council members.
The ceremony was inaugurated by planting a flower which is a symbol of sacrifice and is selfless. Sr Sahaya Mary along with Sr. Maria Kripa planted the sapling. Mrs Vijayalakshmi student council in-charge manured the plant and the student council members watered the plant as a symbolic gesture to work hand in hand for the growth and betterment of the institute.
The oath was administered by Principal Sr Sahaya Mary, Sr Maria Kripa and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi honored the students with sash, badges and flowers. Sr Maria Kripa in her speech congratulated the cabinet members and motivated them to work with confidence and competence. She also emphasized build a faith filled trust in God and also urged everyone to be the genuine student of St Mary’s Institution.
The whole programme was organized by II Commerce Students. It was compered by Rakeeba of 2nd com, Insha Kanitha Science secretary welcomed the gathering and vote of thanks was proposed by Cultural Secretary Afrin Banu.
