St. Mary’s PU College, Falnir Presents Every Classroom Tells a State’s Story A celebration of India’s diverse cultures, traditions, flavours, and heritage brought to life by our students.
St. Mary’s P.U. College celebrated Traditional Day on 12 September 2026 with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour. The celebration provided students with an opportunity to explore, showcase and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of different Indian states.
The I Science students showcased the beautiful culture of Kerala. The presentation featured a colourful Pookalam, the traditional representation of Mahabali, and the famous Onam Sadya. Their presentation reflected the spirit and traditions of the Onam festival.

The II Science students presented the vibrant culture of Maharashtra. They showcased the traditional food, festivals and cultural practices of the state, giving everyone a glimpse into its colourful heritage.
The I Commerce students represented the state of Karnataka. They presented various aspects of Karnataka’s rich traditions, culture and heritage.
The II Commerce students beautifully portrayed “The Best of West Bengal.” Their presentation included the state’s famous folk dances, traditional food and renowned tourist places, highlighting the unique cultural identity of West Bengal.
The celebration was a wonderful blend of tradition, culture, food, dance and heritage. Students participated with creativity and enthusiasm, making the event both educational and entertaining
