St.Mary’s P.U College organised an Orientation Program for the students of I and II PUC on 13th June, 2026 in the college auditorium. Dr. Shwetha Kamath – A Student Counsellor and AIEF master trainer was the resource person for the program. The program commenced with a prayer song, followed by a welcome speech by Ms. Chandrika the Cultural Secretary, who introduced the resource person to the gathering. To express the Institution’s gratitude, the college Principal Sr. Maria Gracilda presented a potted plant to Dr. Kamath as a token of love.
The keynote session was conducted by Dr. Kamath through an interactive presentation which enlightened the students on Goal-setting, Procrastination, vision boards, motivation and mind-set. The speaker shared her insights on equipping with SMART frameworks and how to make their goals more Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Based.Students almost enjoyed the session and prepared their first written goal sheetduring the activity. The session was engaging and included real life examples and group discussions.
