Towards a Greener Tomorrow: Green Week at St. Mary's PU College, Falnir, Mangaluru
As part of Green Week Celebration, Cleanliness Drive and sequence of competitions were conducted at St. Mary’s P.U College, Falnir, Mangalore from 7th July to 9th July to promote environmental awareness, sustainability and eco-friendly practices. In the cleanliness drive almost all the student and teachers participated in the drive. An oath was administered by the college principal –Sr. Maria Gracilda on awareness about environment protection and encouraged students to take responsibility for nature.
COMPETITIONS:
1)FACE –PAINTING: The theme of the competition was “ EARTH –THEN AND NOW“ Participants painted on one side of the face showing a lush ,green forest and the other side

2)Bulletin board competition:
All the classes participated actively in the competition. The event was organized to encourage students to think creatively and educate others about climate change, pollution, and sustainability. The entries were judged based on creativity, neatness, and relevance to the theme. The winners of the competition were as follows:
